About us
Cypress Trading was founded in December 1998 by Michael Keith Ferris.
President and CEO Michael Keith Ferris came to Japan after graduating from an American university.
After working for a trading company for about 10 years, he developed an interest and passion for importing and selling watches in Japan, and started Cypress Trading with the aim of providing high-quality watches at reasonable prices from the consumer's perspective. He was joined by Klaus Bernegger, an Austrian.
We directly import watches and other miscellaneous goods from the United States and Europe and wholesale them to shops throughout Japan.
About 10 years ago, we transitioned to an official import agency business, and as of 2024, we are the official import agency in Japan for brands such as De Bethune, GRAHAM, SEVENFRIDAY, Mรผhle Glashรผtte, and MeisterSinger.
