DENNISON's New "ALD Dual Time 'SHADES'" Released | New Dial Changes Appearance with Light
DENNISON unveils the ALD Dual Time "SHADES" Dial, the latest evolution of its dual time collection. This model is defined by "nuance" rather than excessive ornamentation.
A single color displays a variety of expressions, bringing a new three-dimensional quality to the dial for the first time in the brand's history.
At the heart of this timepiece is a new dial concept designed by Emmanuel Gueit. Based on the themes of light, perception, and restraint, this dial is composed of a single tone, yet its horizontally and vertically brushed finishes reflect and absorb light, constantly changing its appearance.
As the watch moves, the color deepens, softens, and shifts, revealing a spectrum hidden within a single hue. This is not a gradient or a fade, but an expression born from the intricate interplay of finish and light.

First-ever use of indices by the brand
This model marks DENNISON's first-ever introduction of indices on the dial, symbolizing the evolution of minimalist design. By blending Roman numerals with Art Deco-inspired forms, it creates a dialogue between traditional watchmaking codes and early modernist design. While enhancing readability, it also upholds the brand's concept of "duality."
Three colors, infinite expressions
The "SHADES" collection is available in three variations, each centered on a single base color.
Green: Organic, changing from deep forest tones to vibrant green.
Blue: Fluid and airy, shifting from deep navy to soft blue.
Brown: Warm and calming, with nuances of bronze, tobacco, and shadow.
The dial features different finishes on the left and right sides, each displaying a unique expression depending on how the light hits it, yet unified by the concept that "one color changes infinitely."
Dual Time redefined by perspective
The ALD Dual Time is designed as a function for those who travel across multiple time zones, but the "SHADES" dial further expands this concept. Just as time is relative to place, color also changes relatively with light.
This model transcends being merely a timekeeping device, elevating itself to an instrument that measures "perception."

Newly developed "Pebble Link Bracelet"
Along with the new dial, the watch features a stainless steel "Pebble Link Bracelet." The rounded
links have an organic shape, like polished pebbles, that naturally fits the wrist.
The seamlessly integrated design creates a cohesive silhouette for the entire watch, and a hidden clasp
ensures a beautiful, uninterrupted line. It exudes a sophisticated yet understated presence.
Expression of contemporary craftsmanship
In this piece, DENNISON further advances its watchmaking focus on "texture," "proportion," and "detail" rather than complexity.
The dynamic dial expression and flowing bracelet, all elements integrated as one, result in a watch that displays subtle variations over time.
