Hello, I'm Elly, in charge of CYPRESS TRADING and EC.
We are pleased to announce the opening of "Cypress Online," the first directly managed e-commerce store of CYPRESS TRADING, a wholesaler of watches and imports.

With the opening of our EC shop, we would like to provide a brief overview of our company, CYPRESS TRADING, and the brands we handle.

<About Cypress Trading>

CYPRESS TRADING was founded in December 1998 by Michael Keith Ferris.
President and CEO Michael Keith Ferris came to Japan after graduating from an American university. After working for a trading company for about 10 years, he developed an interest and passion for importing and selling watches in Japan, and started Cypress Trading with the aim of providing high-quality watches at reasonable prices from a consumer perspective.
Later, Austrian Klaus Bernegger joined the band as an accompaniment.
We directly import watches and other miscellaneous goods from the United States and Europe and wholesale them to shops throughout Japan.
About 10 years ago, we transitioned to an official import agency business, and as of 2024, we are the official Japanese import agency for brands such as De Bethune, GRAHAM, SEVENFRIDAY, MUHLE GLASHUTTE, and MeisterSinger .

As of May 22, 2024, CYPRESS ONLINE carries SEVENFRIDAY and MUHLE GLASHUTTE , but will also begin selling other brands we carry, such as GRAHAM and MeisterSinger , as soon as they are ready.

*There are no plans to sell this product on De Bethune's online store.

<Brand 1: SEVENFRIDAY>

"SEVENFRIDAY" was born in Zurich, Switzerland in 2012, inspired by the spirit of "#liveSEVENFRIDAY," the excitement that comes before a holiday when "every day is Friday." Every official model is equipped with an NFC chip with a unique ID function on the case back. Featuring Swiss brand design and Japanese-made movements, the brand offers multiple series. Drawing inspiration from "steel, factories, tools, engines, machines, and wheels," the brand's worldview and design are beautifully integrated.
Although it is still in the early stages of becoming well-known in Japan, it is a brand that is enthusiastically loved around the world, particularly in Asia, Europe, Australia, etc.

<Brand 2: Mühle Glashütte >

Mühle Glashütte is a traditional watch brand founded in Glashütte, Germany in 1869. Since its founding in 1869, the brand has overcome historical threats such as two world wars, socialism, and forced confiscation, cultivating precise and accurate watchmaking techniques over five generations in Glashütte. Mühle was formerly a manufacturer of measuring instruments, and has a history of expanding into the production of speedometers, tachometers, and automotive watches, so the company is extremely particular about the precision and technical capabilities of its watchmaking.

<Brand 3: GRAHAM>

GRAHAM, headquartered in La Chaux-de-Fonds, the renowned heart of Swiss watchmaking, is a watch brand with a long and rich history. GRAHAM was founded in 1695 by renowned London watchmaker George Graham. The Chronofighter Vintage is Graham's signature model. Its distinctive trigger is its most attractive and distinctive icon, instantly recognizable as a GRAHAM. GRAHAM timepieces are unique and meticulously crafted. Drawing on unparalleled technical know-how, the essence of Swiss watchmaking, GRAHAM continues to uphold the brand's value by offering timepieces with unparalleled originality.

<Brand 4: MeisterSinger>

MeisterSinger is a German watch brand founded in Münster, Germany in 2001. Its most notable feature is its extremely simple and distinctive "single-hand" design, which does not use minute or second hands and instead displays the time with just one hand.
This design, reflecting ultimate simplicity, has won numerous awards, including the Red Dot Design Award. MeisterSinger, a leading icon of single-hand watches worldwide, continues to captivate many fans around the world with its design and brand concept.

<Brand 5: De Bethune>

DE BETHUNE is a brand that continues to pursue the future of prestigious watchmaking. Founded in 2002 by curator David Zanetta and master watchmaker Denis Flageollet, the independent brand designs and manufactures all of its timepieces in-house. By limiting production, the brand practices uncompromising pursuit of innovation. Since its founding, the brand has obtained more than 10 patents that have redefined watchmaking, performed more than 20 world firsts, and possesses 25 original calibers that have been proven effective in everyday use.
