The S.A.R. Rescue Timer is a special model with a story, created at the direct request of the German Maritime Search and Rescue Service. Mühle-Glashütte was once a manufacturer of measuring instruments and tachometers for major car manufacturers, but the maritime rescue team, which valued its precision and durability, requested a "readable" and "comfortable to wear without hindering rescue operations" watch in any situation, and this model was born as a practical tool watch.
