The S.A.R. Rescue Timer is a special model with a unique story, created at the direct request of the German Maritime Search and Rescue Service. Mühle-Glashütte was once a manufacturer of measuring instruments and tachometers for major car manufacturers, among others. The maritime rescue teams, who valued the precision and durability of Mühle's products, sought a practical tool watch that would be "easy to read" in any situation and "comfortable to wear without hindering rescue operations." This is how this model was born.
